SNOW CLOSURE POLICY

The Preschool will be closed on very snowy days.  To determine if the preschool is closed, check TV stations 2 or 7, and look for “Christ Lutheran Church Preschool –Highlands Ranch”. Some teachers may use email for notification as well.  You can also check our blog at: clcpreschool.blogspot.com, twitter at: clpreschool and on facebook.  If ALL Douglas county schools are closed, WE ARE CLOSED.  If a blizzard should occur during school hours and Douglas County schools are closing early, we will notify you about picking your child up immediately.  There are no discounts for these days.

IF Douglas County is on delayed start then we will CANCEL ALL MORNING classes.  All full day classes will begin at 12:30 p.m. and afternoon times as usual.  This is a new policy effective the 2011-2012 school year for the safety of our families and teachers.  If any class misses 3 days due to the weather, we will make up one class day in May and modify our ending dates accordingly.  This follows the guidelines of the Douglas County schools for snow make up days.
